On Wednesday May 30th, at 7:30pm in the LGI at EHS, Detective Parikka, a current member of the Greenburgh Police department, as well as an Edgemont graduate, will be speaking to the current Juniors, Seniors, and their parents about campus safety in a college setting .Following the event there will be a short demonstration on basic self-defense. The aim of this event will be to promote safety in college as well as raise continuous awareness about Lauren Spierer. We ask that all of those who wish to attend the event donate a small entrance fee at the door to be donated to the Find Lauren Fund. In addition, anyone who orders take-out from the Candlelight Inn and mentions the Campus Safety Event will have 10% of proceeds donated to the fund.
